Release Day

Under the Surface is finally here.

I don't know what to say (for once), so forgive if this sounds a bit ambivalent for a record release. I went through a lot to make this album, so seeing it released into the wild is a bit of a relief. At the same time I'm proud of this work, regardless of my feelings about the circumstances that birthed it. I poured my heart and soul into this and I look forward to seeing how its meaning evolves in the hands of the fans, as such things commonly do. Frankly, I'd love to place new meaning upon it. Perhaps with time your perspectives can help me see things in a new light.
